M101 Skywheel - New Landmark in Malaysia

We’ve heard about the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa in Dubai which include elites’ residential units, but now the world focus might be directed to Malaysia with the construction of M101 Skywheel. Built on freehold land along the main artery of KL, Jalan Tun Razak, right within the business and entertainment center of KL, M101 Skywheel will become our nation latest landmark next to KLCC.
The iconic M101 Skywheel developed by a prudent developer, M101 Holdings Sdn Bhd that was founded in 2012 by Dato’ Seth Yap Ting Hau. M101 Skywheel will become a catalyst to put Malaysia as a top-ranked country in property tourism. The developer had partnered with world famous Studio F.A. Porsche to design the Design Suites that would make the building more prestigious.
M101 SkyWheel consists of two 78-storey towers that will house about 1,200 small office, flexible office (SoFo) units, the 94 Design Suites, the world’s highest shopping mall that extends from the 50th to 52nd level with over 200,000 sq ft of retail space, the first Planet Hollywood Hotel in Asia and a mass rapid transit (MRT) station at the basement.
Another prominent feature of M101 Skywheel is the world’s highest ferris wheel, Sky Ferries Wheel, built on the 52nd level, which has a vantage point of 220m above the ground.
When completed in 2021, the owners of the units would be able to enjoy various smart integrations in a minimalist contemporary interior, such as the “magic” TV concept, which is integrated into the glass surface and only comes to life when it is switched on. The owners of the Design Suites will not only have an amazing view of the KL skyline, they will also be able to enjoy facilities such as an infinity pool, gym and sauna on the 78th floor.
The fully-furnished Design Suites, housed at the top of Tower A of M101 SkyWheel will come in three layouts option with built-up sizes of 1,018 sq ft, 909 sqft and 879 sq ft.
With an average selling price of RM3,700 psf, the developer is targeting foreign buyers from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Korea, the Philippines, Brunei, Sri Lanka, India and Bangladesh.
Besides this iconic project, the developer, M101 Holdings Sdn Bhd has planned to launch 10 more projects, comprising mainly small office, flexible office (SoFo) units with a total Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM4 billion.
